tudor grove: part 2

The new screened porch…heavenly!

This plant eats stink bugs!  Can’t remember its name but if you add water to the flowers it
will capture stink bugs..handy huh.

Camille is mother to Abby Kasonik the amazing artist that did this oil.  Talent runs rampant
in this family.

Amazing, right!

Thank you and homeowner Camille Price for sharing these photos of the wonderful Tudor Grove.I have looked at the photos several times and each time I find something new to admire. I hope we can see the gardens too. Thanks again.

……..Christy & Jan (you little devils:) I looked for the second part LAST night, bet you TWO guessed Id be doing just that(cackle). GET the name of stink bug plant, would take the heat off me. I feel the need to take them alive outside ggrrr. That plant would NOT make me feel guilty & those stink bugs are annoying.
Yup creative peoples seem to be related. Could be genetics or environmental, dont know. Of course Camilla had to be Abby’s Mom, only makes sense. Im seriously moving in with Camilla & if she reads this bet she is nervous:)

I am a member of Albemarle Chapter of United Daughters of Confederacy, Virginia Division. No, we don’t wear white robes and long for the big plantation. We are more history buffs tracing our Civil War Ancestors. I want to thank you for preserving the boyhood home of John Singleton Mosby of the CSA. The gardens were always a special place for Southern Families. You have produced a part of history. Would it ever be possible for our Chapter to see the gardens and the house?????? I realize this is a question that totally asks to invade your personal and family space but it would mean so much to all of us in a Southern sort of way. Thanks for your consideration. Helen Bernard Webster Charlottesville. Virginia. P.S. We are the keepers of the Confederate Cemetery on the Grounds at UVA
