This month’s Veranda, that is. Ever since Dara Capinigro took over as editor I have loved every issue!
This house was a big “wow” for me. Great colors, scale, architecture and antiques. It is the Georgian house of Furlow Gatewood,
John Rosselli’s associate and southern antique buyer for the last 40 years. He apparently came across the 19th century gothic
house that was just about to be demolished, and had it cut in half and moved onto his property. Gatewood restored, decorated andcompleted the landscape design on the home in 18 months. Did I mention he is 90 years old. Cheers to Furlow, well done!
