It is with great sadness that we announce George’s passing. He lived eleven and a half tremendous years and our lives will be forever touched by him. He was our first baby, best friend, name sake and all around perfect gentleman. The end of an era!

being a bully owner I feel your pain. These sweet dogs grab your heart and never let go. We have our second boy who we discovered has a massive tumor around his heart. 11 years is a good life for this breed but not for those of us in love with them. My condolences.

I am so sorry to learn of his passing. I know from all the pictures and stories you have shared over the years how much he was loved, and what an important member of the family he was. I loved when I would come into the shop on my trips up from Richmond and George was there. It always made the shop feel like I was visiting someones home and not just a shop. George was, as some have already said, quite the southern gentleman. You were very lucky to have had him for eleven years.
I am so sorry to read this about George. My heart aches for you and your family. Our pets are such a special part of our lives and bring us endless joy. May the wonderful memories you have of him live on and bring you peace at this sad time. He will be missed by so many.
Our Bulldogs never stay with us long enough, do they? when they leave, a piece of us is ripped away. I am so very sorry that Mr George had to leave you.

I noticed George has the same “nose” condition that our beloved cocker, Phoebe, had. We lost her after 15 years so I feel your pain…fortunately you have these wonderful photos to remember every lovable inch of him.
