Two of our favorite ladies (ever) have done it again! Bethany Puopolo, Charlottesville Architect Extraordinaire has colaborated with Tudor Grove’s Camille Price to design and build a gorgeous elevator that looks like it has been there forever.
I think it is a gorgeous addition to the historical home.
Love the library wallpaper she ordered from England and the worn oriental rug.
It so naturally connects to the interior of the house. On the first floor, they broke through an existing arch and as you can tell actually enhances the room. Looks like a little library nook!
Love what you walk into…so inviting! Unfortunately I did not get pics of the second floor where it connects to the master bedroom through a closet…it’s fabulous!
We are proud to have Bethany as a part of The Scout Guide network in our Charlottesville guide . To see more of her work please look for her at http://www.bethanypuopolo.com. Her fabulous home is featured in Southen Living this month! click here.

How wonderful. As the population in the U.S. ages it’s nice to know there are some designers who are able to create such a welcome addition to a home for transporting its owners up a floor! I love the library wallpaper and worn rug.
I’ll be visiting the link to this designer.
