Eight years ago, soon after moving to C’ville we met the lovely Abby Kasonik. She invited us
to her awesome cottage where we saw some of her art…it was love at first sight! After a little
coercing we became her first ever commission.
She has just built this fantastic studio in her backyard and is painting away!
Abby’s large work is represented by the Lowe Gallery in Atlanta and we are
fortunate to be her only other outpost. So when she recently dropped off
a dozen new pieces from her aquatic series we were jumping for joy! Her following has
spread nation wide and she really seems to be on the fast track. We love knowing her
and are honored to be able to have her pieces in our collection at And George!

LOVE Abby Kasonik’s paintings. Have one I *treasure* in very prominent & perfect spot in my home, cant miss it. Where placed I see at least 20 x daily, at least. To me my Abby painting tells many stories, longer I stare more stories pop, also places & plans. This piece always takes me back to NYC, in my head.
