George is 11!
Come celebrate with us!
Champagne and cupcakes friday and saturday.

Our friend Camille never ceases to inspire us. Look at all of her beautiful green!
Love all of the planted paper whites with the big mounds of moss. This time of year is
so drab when it comes to flowers…it is time to hit the nursery and throw those indoor
plants in a great urn. Follow Camille’s lead and dig through your butlers pantry to find
all kinds of beautiful vessels. Happy potting!
An intaglio is a figure or design carved into a stone or hard material. “Intaglios, cameos, and medals were
popular among collectors in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth century. Skilled engravers copied
such artifacts from the classical world, reproductions were made in paste and glass, and collectors bought
them not only for display, but to study classical Greece and Rome.
We love the monochromatic coloration and beautiful sculptural quality of these little cameos. Framed in a simple
frame they take on an art quality and in a collection they can steal the show in a room. Here are some examples
of what these little guys can do!
Here are a few we have at And George….
